We welcome volunteers with open arms here at TLC! There are many ways to get involved, whether you’re helping directly with our residents or supporting behind the scenes. Volunteers with skills in the service industry, like hair stylists or cosmetologists, offer free services to our residents, which is a valuable resource. We also work with knowledgeable volunteers to create educational programs that help our residents build skills for a better future.

In addition, general volunteers assist shelter staff with donation inventory, cleaning, organizing, and more. We also plan larger volunteer events from time to time, which we’ll advertise as they come up.
