Seneca County Council on Homelessness

The Seneca County Council on Homelessness (SCCoH) is a 501(c)(3) organization made up of dedicated individuals from various sectors of our community. Many of our members have worked directly with those facing homelessness for years and have a deep understanding of the local challenges. Our goal is to bring together community leaders, policymakers, business owners, educators, faith-based groups, and social service organizations to create a coordinated, effective, and sustainable approach to addressing homelessness in Seneca County.

Transformation Life Center

The Transformation Life Center provides emergency housing for women and children in Seneca County, recognizing that women, particularly those with children, are disproportionately impacted by homelessness. In addition to providing a safe place to stay, we offer a variety of educational programs aimed at helping women move from dependency to self-sufficiency. Our residents have access to life skills classes, budgeting workshops, and connections to vital community resources. By equipping women with the knowledge and tools they need, we help them build the foundation for a stable, independent future.

I am from the Dayton area of Ohio and I moved to Tiffin in 2020 to attend Heidelberg University. I fell in love with Tiffin immediatly and stayed in town throughout my schooling, opting to be a summer student worker. I was awarded my Bachelor’s of Science in 2024 by Heidelberg University. My academic studied were focused on business administration, particularly with a lens on non-profit business. I hope to use business practices to support the greater community here in Tiffin and Seneca County as a whole. I am so grateful to be apart of this team that works diligently in aiding those experiencing homelessness.
