Working Together to End Homelessness in Seneca County
The Seneca County Council on Homelessness (SCCoH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by a Board of Directors and supported by a coalition of community leaders, service providers, and advocates. Together, we are building a coordinated, compassionate, and sustainable response to homelessness in Seneca County.
Our mission is to create the structure, support, and culture needed to help individuals and families move from crisis to stability and from dependency to self-sufficiency.
Our key initiative, the Transformation Life Center (TLC), provides emergency shelter and supportive services for women and children experiencing homelessness. More than just a safe place to stay, TLC offers life skills classes, budgeting workshops, and personalized guidance. We walk alongside each resident as they rebuild their lives, connect with local resources, and take confident steps toward long-term independence.

"Our mission is to create an infrastructure and culture that will transform people’s lives from dependency to self-sufficiency."

A Story of Hope
“I came to TLC in March of 2023, I was homeless, scared, and needed to heal in every aspect of my life… If it wasn’t for the program and the staff at TLC, I really don’t know if I would have been so successful in completing everything I needed to… Today, I’m in a wonderful apartment downtown with my children, working, and going back to school.”
